Junior Match Reports – round-up

Here is your weekly round-up of some of the Youth rugby action across the club.  If you want your report to be published – please send through to Ryan Martin and it will be published on a Thursday in that week.  It’s up to you to get your reports in ……

UNDER 15s – friendly v Basingstoke (22 September)
Totts U15s made it two wins from two with a hard fought 19-17 win against a strong Basingstoke side, scoring three tries with Ollie Turvey converting two kicks.  Player of the match was Daniel who made an impact on the wing with a try and his hard tackling.  Super proud of the boys!

UNDER 15s – v Fordingbridge (29 September)
Tottonians U15s came up against a very big, physical Fordingbridge side and after conceding an early try, Totts regrouped and stormed back to win 40-12 with two tries from George Havelock, two from Kai Morton and one each for Archie Reid and Matthew Bragg – Kai Morton also kicking five conversions.  Man of the match was Aayan for his aggressive running and breakdown commitment.  Three wins from three is a great start to the season for this fantastic group of boys.

UNDER 15s – league game v Winchester Reds (6 October)
Tottonians U15s had tough, physical match against Winchester Reds in the league.  Two tries from Kai Morton, and one apiece from Ashton Brown, Daniel Lekalakala and Henry Maitland, with Kai Morton kicking two conversions. Winchester made it difficult for a Totton side not at their best, but a win is a win.  That’s now 4 from 4 for the U15s in their best ever start to the season. Totts Player of the match was George, who’s aggressive tackling and effort in the breakdown helped his team to another win.
