Congratulations to Alex Robinson, who received the “Paul Searle Tottonians RFC Player of the Month” for October 2024 following an impressive month both on and off the pitch.

Alex, who missed the first month of the season with a foot injury, returned to fitness and was a part of the successful 2nd XV that kept an undefeated record while he was in the side.  But, given he was moved from his more regular centre position to play in the back row of the scrum is testimony to his versatility.

Add into this that he has also scored seven tries in his five appearances so far this season, adding one to his tally as he returned to the 1st XV on Saturday against Newbury, coming off the bench to play in the centre and crossed in the comfortable win.

However, the recognition of the coveted Paul Searle Award is not only for his prowess on the field but his hard work off it as well as a member of the club committee, he is an integral member of the Social committee helping organise some superb events in the club whilst also a hugely influential and important member of the social media team too.

Many congratulations Alex – he joins Cam Flint, the winner of the September award, as players to receive the much vaunted Paul Searle tankard this season.
